San Quentin Prison Ministry

In the spring of 2015, I began my volunteer ministry at San Quentin State Prison for Men. Father George Williams, SJ is the chaplain. I believe God has called me to this “ministry of presence.”I am learning more about God’s love, compassion and forgiveness. The attachment, Stations of the Cross, was created by Father George and a team for the men at SQ and other prisoners. On Sundays at 3:00 p.m., we visit some of the men on death row. We prayed the Stations together. It was a very powerful prayer experience.

I hope you will use this profound booklet and keep us in your prayers. Be assured of my love and prayers for you.
