Sister Marie celebrates her remarkable 75-year Diamond Jubilee with gratitude, joy, and a deep sense of purpose. Reflecting on her years in community, she recalls how quickly time has passed, filled with active ministry in parishes, home visits, and constant engagement with people. Even as she adapts to new limitations, she continues her mission in creative ways—embracing Facebook as a tool for evangelization and connection. Through it, she reconnects with long-lost relatives and builds a vibrant network of “prayer warriors,” lifting up intentions and supporting those in need. Her telephone remains another vital ministry, allowing her to reach the homebound, send cards, and maintain meaningful relationships. Sister Marie delights in fostering community, even sharing lighthearted moments from her past ministry. Now at 95, she treasures connections with Daughters of Charity who fostered her vocation and continues to inspire faith through prayer, communication, and devotion, especially to Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal.
